Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actress as well as a producer, director and playwright, teacher, as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. As a young child, she was featured in various commercials. Anna moved to Toronto in Ontario in order to pursue acting. The decade which followed, she relocated into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at a Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her husband in the year 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got weddings in the month of December that year and then renewed their vows during a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo's same-sex romance with Lauren was featured in CNN's top TV Couples ever and named Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Its popularity has led to Anna building a large online following on social media.
